Individuals that work directly with families, schools, parole and probation officers, treatment centers, mental health providers, and hospitals. Providing mentorship, harm reduction, care and comfort support.
Change Agents
Provide direct outreach and intervention within families and individuals that have been affected or impacted by violence. Working closely with healthcare providers and community violence intervention providers.
Love Mission
Supportive socioeconomic services for diverse populations including elderly individuals, youth, people experiencing homelessness, LGBTQ+ community members, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and people of all gender identities and expressions.
Gathering Committee
The committee builds strategic partnerships with fellow violence prevention organizations, connecting S.V.L.T.S II with other grassroots groups to ensure vulnerable communities receive comprehensive support and resources.
Family Wholeness Wellness
A program located onsite connecting individuals and families with healthcare workers / mental health providers that specialize in the short and long term effect of trauma & grief through grief counseling.

Mission
Senseless Violence Leads to Silence (S.V.L.S.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims, families, and communities impacted by violent crimes. Through long-term engagement, we provide comprehensive services including advocacy, mentoring, mental health support, and social services to affected individuals, school districts, and communities.
Our mission focuses on restoration and rebuilding within minority communities affected by the loss of loved ones through:
Homicide - providing immediate crisis support and ongoing healing resources for families navigating sudden, violent loss
Suicide - offering specialized grief counseling and prevention programs while reducing stigma around mental health
Gun violence - implementing evidence-based interventions and support systems for communities affected by firearm-related deaths
